Welcome Kathy Schaer, CRNP

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Kathy Schaer, CRNP, to its medical staff.

Kathy joins the team at Penn Highlands Endocrinology, located at 145 Hospital Avenue, Suite 101, in DuBois.

Kathy specializes in endocrinology and has more than a decade of nursing experience. She is here to use her extensive clinical experience to treat patients in DuBois.

Common treatments and procedures include adrenal gland disorders, diabetic conditions, diabetic management, hormone production disorders, menopause, metabolism issues, osteoporosis, pituitary gland disorders and thyroid problems.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Kathy practiced at Olean General Hospital in Olean, NY.

Kathy earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at Pennsylvania State University in State College.
