PH DuBois Names Traci Tyger Employee of the Month for May 2016
Traci Tyger, physician assistant in Radiation Oncology at Hahne Regional Cancer Center, was named employee of the month for May 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Traci provides diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative healthcare services to patients. As a physician assistant in the specialized field of radiation oncology, Traci works alongside of the Dr. Grae Schuster, radiation oncologist and medical director of radiation oncology.
She started at Penn Highlands DuBois in July 2009 in the Penn Highlands Family Health office in Brookville before going to Hahne on March 29, 2010.
“Traci is a valued employee to our Hahne Regional Cancer Center team and Penn Highlands Healthcare,” Laura Adams, service line director for Radiology / Oncology at Penn Highlands Healthcare.
“She is a role model employee who always goes above and beyond for all our patients. Traci is a dedicated physician assistant who continuously motivates the center to provide high quality care to our patients in a patient centered environment. She is devoted to continuously displaying professionalism in all patient and co worker interactions,” Adams said.
“She has been an integral part of researching and assisting with performance improvement initiatives,” she said. “Traci has an inviting personality that puts our oncology patients at ease, allowing them to focus on their journey through a cancer diagnosis. Along with all of the staff, oncologist, coworkers and administration we are proud to work alongside of Traci.”
“The work we do makes a real difference in people’s lives,” Traci said.
Traci received her bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Gannon University. She is a native and current resident of Punxsutawney.
